Another legacy is the creation of the Cheekye Fan Trail. This trail was built under the direction of Ray Peters and with the help of numerous volunteers and the generous participation of many local businesses. The trail provides a beautiful route for the running leg of the triathlon and is also widely used by the community as a whole. The triathlon, the scholarship and the Cheekye Fan Trail are all a testament to the memory of Bob McIntosh.
